A teacher at an inservice program might whisper to another...

Issue Addressed:

A teacher at an inservice program might whisper to another teacher, "This curriculum seems really nice, but it won't work with my kids." Many teachers will look at material presented in a seminar setting as something handed down from an "ivory tower" that has little relevance to their day to day classroom life.

Solution:

The demonstration teacher goes into the classroom and shows that the materials will work with all students. They use their experience to provide individualized help with pacing, assessment, material managment, and mathematics. They answer the question, "How can I relate this material to my students?"
