Fwd: LSC-sharing digest, Vol 1 #7 - 1 msg

Hi!
We are an LSC in one suburb of Chicago, called Harvey. We are in our
first year with 6 K-6 schools and one junior high. We, too, try to
share our vision in many ways.
We meet regularly with the school coordinators. We try to meet
regularly with the principals and also with the district
administration.
We communicate our plans in person at workshops and during our
regular in-school visits. We also send reminders via fax to the
principals and coordinators. It does take a lot of effort to get
information to and from the schools and from the district
administration.
We still have a way to go. We have decided that we need to focus
more energy on the district and school administrators.
I look forward to sharing ideas.
