This is Sabra Lee writing. I work with the Program Evaluation and Research
Group at Lesley College, in Cambridge MA where I am evaluating two LSCs
(Alaska and Arizona) among the six projects I am working with at this time.
I've been interested in the issues of middle school - appropriate
curriculums in mathematics and science, professional development for
teachers, and how to gain and support the interest of teachers in change -
for several years. In some districts I have worked with state testing and
community resistance are relevant. At this point I am reading messages but
have not yet posted any. (obviously!)
