Birmingham Systemic Change 2000 Project K-5 MathematicsSeven days How many teachers do you involve in your workshops? 155 teachers What are your major goals for your workshops in terms of content and pedagogy? The goal of the Summer Workshops is to actively involve teachers in learning how to most effectively implement Everyday Mathematics, addressing specifically grade level curriculum, sample lessons, student assessment, classroom management, parent involvement, material development, and collaborative networking. Are you offering professional development on specific curricula that you are hoping will be used in the classroom? If so, which curricula are you using? The BSC 2000 Project's professional development is designed to help teachers effectvely implement the Everyday Mathematics Curricula in Grades K-5.

A Reminder: | The SUMMER SERIRES is scheduled for the week of July 12-16, 1999, at Lane Center, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each day. During this time you will be actively involved in learning more about Everyday Math and your crucial role in its successful implementation. |
