The National Library of Virtual Manipulatives for Interactive Mathematics

description: This Web site was developed as part of a three-year NSF supported project to develop a library of uniquely interactive, Web-based virtual manipulatives for teachers to use with students. These manipulatives are aligned with NCTM standards and have been designed for each of the following areas - Number and Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Measurement, and Data Analysis and Probability. Two fun areas in the Geometry area to check out are the Platonic Solids (grades pre-K-12) and the Iterative Fractals (grades 6-12). The site may take a little while to load especially the first time you go to it, but don't let that deter you from visiting it - it's a great resource!
