Investigations in Number, Data, and Space is a comprehensive, K-5 mathematics curriculum whose goals are to: offer students meaningful mathematical problems; emphasize depth in mathematical thinking rather than exposure to a series of fragmented topics; communicate mathematics content and pedagogy to teachers; and widely expand the pool of mathematically literate students. The curriculum consists of a set of 2- to 6-week modules at each grade level.
