Interactive Mathematics Program (IMP)

description: IMP is a high school curriculum that replaces the traditional four years with twenty problem solving units. As students explore each units central problem they learn the mathematics needed to solve that problem. the materials are intended for use with collabortaive groups. It makes extensive use of the graphing calculator. Thinking about and communicating about mathematics are stressed.
