In the textbook evaluation, which was released in April, seven of the twelve textbooks studied were "adequate," none was rated highly, and five were "rated so inadequate that they lack potential for student learning." This interesting press release also includes links to the evaluation results for individual books and the instructional criteria used to evaluate the textbooks.
