How does your project deal with state policies that are...

I guess we were lucky in Nevada that when the state began writing their new standards, we were involved from the beginning. It was a good process for us as we could help educate people about our beliefs, at the same time being educated by what the public really believed and wanted. I guess one thing is to make sure you get people to "volunteer" or be "appointed" to be on these committees. The other thing is then to figure out how their language fits with what you're already doing. Sometimes it's more a matter of language than actual beliefs.
