Our Middle Schools are begging for a test to give to students who think (possibly due to parents)that they are ready for algebra in 6th through 8th grade. Thanks to all who can help with the following questions: 1) Does any one have reseach on student performance, especially those that take algebra in 6th or 7th grade? 2) Are there any pre-tests that assess standards-based middle school mathematics programs such as CMP?
