Issue Addressed:

Is anyone else working with a college or university to develop formal courses specifically for teachers? These can provide extended learning opportunities directly targeting teachers' needs (e.g., standards-based & using school curricular materials). If co-developed and co-taught by teachers, education faculty, and scientists, such learning experiences include a breadth of valuable perspectives. Our experiences to date suggest that many see these as sensible and valuable. But they are proving challenging to create and implement. I would enjoy sharing our experiences and comparing notes with others on this topic.
