How does your project measure the impact on students of...

Compiling alternative assessments for each unit as program assessment so there is a picture of success rate across the district at each grade level.

Reply 2:

At this point in our project, we have been able to compile student responses collected by teachers who attended this past summer's workshop and have used a kit in their classroom. We are anticipating utilizing both standardized tests and other methods of student assessment as the project progresses. From the results we are are seeing thus far, both attitudes toward science and achievement in science seem to be improving.
