Issue Addressed:

In a recent press release the New York City Department of Education announed that they will be using uniform material within all schools except for approximately 200 top performing schools. Chancellor Klien and Deputy Supt. Diana Lam announced that elementary school will use Everyday Mathematics (NSF supported curricula) along with Math steps for grades K-5. Grades 6-8 will use Impact Mathematics which is developed by Everyday Mathematics.

Are you currently using this IMPACT? Does it align with Math in Context? Any feedback from teachers and administrators?

Thanks Selma
