RE: LSC-sharing digest, Vol 1 #8 - 2 msgs
|
Greetings!
I am with a project in Visalia, California - STEPSS. We are a k-6 project currently working with 18 schools. Our best advocates for our project are the teachers. The comments from the previous messages suggest that communication between the project, district personnel and site administrators are big issues. It is in our project as well.
I have several questions regarding this issue:
What have you noticed to be the best strategy in communicating with your district? How do you keep the integrity of your project integrated into the expectations of your district as well as an emphasis? If adminstrators are your focus, what kind of "outreach" do you plan to do with them?
A newsletter sounds appealing as one source. What information is included and how often is it sent out to the sites?
What kind of data are you collecting about your projects and how are you sharing it with your district?
Looking forward to your response.
Sam
