Discussion: How do you effectively share your vision? Modes of Communication within your LSC.

I appreciate Jerry's recent post. One thing that is clear from it, as
from other recent posts, is that a fundamental need is simply the
distribution of information. Even at this very concrete, operational
level (pardon the pun), it is a challenge to get people to "listen," to
get used to tuning in for information from a new source or about a new
program. I suppose that information overload, as well as work overload,
has a lot to do with it.

It also appears to me that another dimension of sharing the vision gets
carried forward primarily by means of person-to-person meetings. What I
mean is, the process by which teachers explore, critique, and digest new
attitudes and ideas together -- my sense is that this happens at
workshops, or at meetings with teacher leaders, rather than by email or
a discussion area on a website. Perhaps this depends on whether there
are a lot of participating teachers in a school, or just a few, who
might feel isolated and need to reach out?
