Hi,
My name is Becky Montano with Tucson Unified School District. One of the
major problems we face at the Middle School is the notion that we have a
middle school. The name, intent, student population 6-8, and staffing have
all changed, but the instruction is not a middle school delivery system.
The students do not interact across grades, and the lessons are content
based by level and not integrated. Few staff development models exist
across the country that deal with the "middle school concept/philosophy.

My first contribution..more to follow any ideas?
